Inventory Dates Inquiry

The Inventory Dates Inquiry and the Inventory Transactions Inquiry, are virtually the same report. The Inventory Transaction Inquiry is run as of a date and lists of all inventory transactions in and out for a single item, or multiple items, via the item maskA mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Visually a mask is represented by a series of forward slash marks (///), sometimes with a letter, letters, or number(s) preceding it (1/// or AB///). For example, if you enter ////////, this indicates that you want to list all items defined in the system. If you enter in 1//1//1/, this indicates that you want the system to list items that have the digit "1" in those locations.. It takes the current on-hand balance and adds and deducts the inventory transactions found between the date entered and the current date and calculates a beginning balance. The Inventory Dates Inquiry is run for a date range and lists all inventory transactions in and out for a single item or multiple items via the item mask between the dates entered.

The Inventory Dates Inquiry can also be run from Inventory Inquiry for the item selected.

Inventory Dates Inquiry Fields

Single Item (Y/N) Enter Y (Y=yes) to run the inquiry for one item, enter N (N=no) to run the report for more than one item. Item The item or item maskA mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Beginning Date The beginning date for the oldest inventory transaction to be included on the inquiry. Ending Date The ending date for the oldest inventory transaction to be included on the inquiry.   Show 0 Balance/No Activity Enter Y (Y=yes) to include items without transactions between the current date and date entered, enter N (N=no) to exclude items without transactions between the current date and the date entered.
